Questions Families Actually Ask

Is Out of Box Learning really accredited?

Yes. OBL is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC/ACS WASC), Accrediting Commission for Schools, 533 Airport Blvd., Suite 200, Burlingame, CA 94010 — the same organization that accredits over 5,000 educational programs across the U.S.

How does "Credit for Anything" work?

Bring us something your student is already doing — a sport, a job, dance, music, travel, a business. We map it to a real credit category (PE, Fine Arts, or Elective), tell you the required hours and documentation, and issue credit once it's verified.

Who is this for?

Student athletes, competitive dancers and musicians, families who travel, homeschool and hybrid students, students recovering credit, and gifted learners who want to move at their own pace.

Will other schools accept the credit?

OBL credit is WASC-accredited and broadly recognized, but transfer policy is always set by the receiving school or district — we recommend confirming with your school or counselor before enrolling.

Can we use Utah Fits All funds?

OBL is an Approved Provider for the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program. Ask us during your free consultation for the current process.

How do we get started?

Book a free 15-minute Credit Mapping Session, or browse the course catalog and enroll directly — whichever fits your family best.
